I recieved an e-mail from the Friends of Bishop Seán Manchester, dated 20/04/2007 1:34 AM, informing me that their response to some questions I had submitted them (via CLD, a member of the JREF forums), had been reproduced on the MondoSkepto website: http://www.mondoskepto.com/node/109.
The article/blog entry is called "Bishop Refuses Interview - Accuses MondoSkepto of Being "anti-Sean Manchester"" (Submitted by Joe on April 19, 2007 - 5:52am.). In it, I am identified as being Bishop Se찼n Manchester himself!:
Not unexpectedly, the erstwhile Bishop would not return direct emails, preferring instead the sanctity of the cloister, yet all the while indulging his eccentric habit of posting to forums in the guise of of loyal supporters, often using monickers such as "Mythbuster" and "Overseer", and typically speaking of himself in the third person[...]
My member name on the JREF forum is also "The Overseer". "Myth Buster" was a member of the forum who was banned for being an alleged associate or guise of Manchester. The article carried on to further establish me as Bishop Seán Manchester:
As we find the behavior of kooks and eccentrics fascinating, MondoSkepto decided to play along. Via PM, we asked one of the Vicarious Vicar's numerous alter-egos to forward a request for an interview along with some sample questions to The Great Man Himself. A few days later, the alter-ego dutifully returned to us the following reply, straight from the horses mouth
I posted a comment on the entry as soon as I finished reading it. As of this writing, it is yet to be processed.
It is clear that the website uses a provokative, baiting form of humour to guile its readers, nonetheless, I resent the more public assertion that I am Bishop Seán Manchester (I am most definately not. I have never met the man, or his associates. I am not even a member of his organisations and I do not even live in his same country. See the "Unmasked!" thread), a carry-over from similar accusations made against me on the JREF forums.
